Not all Safety Systems are build the same.
Our Mission:- To achieve an efficient, user friendly, and ultimately safe system first time every time.
At Rope Access & Rescue we design, engineer, install and certify roof access systems, height safety systems, building facade access systems (abseil and suspended platform type). Its what we do, and we are very good at it.
Our design philosophy is not a one size fits all approach. When designing off the plans for a new construction project, every floor plan, elevation and cross section of the building is thoroughly scrutinised to ensure every aspect of the building facade can be reached.
Our design process passes though three Rope Access & Rescue team members.
- Rope access technician with ten years design experience using and designing heights safety systems
- Qualified engineer with five years experience in height safety systems
- Qualified and licensed builder with five years installation experience
This careful design process is intrinsic to producing the high quality results our clients have come to expect from us each and every time.
Our recent projects have prompted the design of some of our own height safety products in and attempt to really raise the standards of the safety products we use. There are certain safety issues with commonly placed eye nut anchor points that we have endeavored to engineer out of our systems. The main issues surrounding chemically set anchor points into concrete are Axial pull out angles, karabiner or connector rollout and incorrect loading across the working axis the the eye nut. Our designers and engineers have produced an anchor that compensates for all these issues. We have called it the Rope Access & Rescue Rotator! The anchor has an angled hanger plate that rotates on specially designed collar, this has the effect of maintaining optimin loading onto the strongest part of the anchor stud. Because it follows the direction of the applied force as the force moves, it negates any level of roll-out potential.
Our next new product from our development team is an abseil rated davit arm. This has been specifically designed to access over parapets and sunshades were the pressure of the ropes is not an option. The davit arm sleeves onto our davit base to lock securely into postion for use. The anchors for the base can be either cast in during construction or chemically set post completion. The davit, like all our products, has been designed with ease of use and safety of the end user in mind.
